A blind girl is getting ready to go out. Her father asks her if she needs a drop, but she says that her friend is coming to pick her up. There is a honk outside, and she gets the cue that her friend has arrived. Her father walks her out of the house up to the car. The girl smiles and thanks her father before she gets into the car.
She sits in the front seat, she feels her hands up to the safety belt, pulls it down, then feels for the slot with her fingers and buckles up. All in one smooth action.
Her friend sitting in the drivers seat looks through the rear view mirror. Two kids sitting in the back (her niece and nephew) have been observing all this. They look at each other and quietly proceed to buckle up.
