Two colleagues X and Y, working for a large corporation came up to a cross road. As they contemplated on which direction to take, X made a decision. Y was skeptical and discouraged X with various reasons on why the path was fraught with danger. X went ahead nevertheless.
Two years later, Y phoned X.
Y: Hey, haven’t heard from you after that day. What happened with the path you took and where have you reached?
X: You were right, it was madness. I had to swim rivers, climb trees and sleep in the mountains. It’s not quite what I expected at all, but I am here now in a place where I can feel the clouds.
Y: I told you. You would just not listen. We were never going to get to where we wanted, going that way.
X: What about you – where are you now?
Y: I am still here, at the cross road.
