Manager interventions

Assume that a team is working on a task, and the manager steps into the meeting :

Manager 1 - Observes what is going on. Validates existing thoughts. Asks specific questions. Adds two cents that provides value to the team. And let’s the team continue.

Manager 2 - Rapid fire discussions on topics that are often all over the place. No conclusions or clear directions. Besides time lost, nothing really changes. The team continues from where they left off. Manager 3 - Provides inputs that distracts the objective of the task. The team has been working in a certain direction and now everything halts . The team is confused and not really sure where to go from here. Manager 1 is preferred, Manager 2 is tolerable, Manager 3 is unwanted, perhaps even dangerous.
